Una delegación de la Unión de Profesionales y Trabajadores Autónomos (UPTA) encabezada por su secretario general, Sebastián Reyna, y el director de PolÃtica Sectorial, Cesar GarcÃa, mantuvieron ayer una primera reunión con el Grupo Parlamentario Socialista, para presentarle un total de seis posibles enmiendas a la Ley Ómnibus, una de las piezas clave en la transposición de la directiva de servicios.
En un comunicado, UPTA explicó que la reunión contó con la presencia del la portavoz de Hacienda del PSOE, Montserrat Colldeforns, y con los presidentes de las organizaciones de UPTA Amprodenta (protésicos dentales), Fenadismer (transporte) y Covepres (vendedores de prensa). Asimismo, aseguró que presentarán estas mismas enmiendas al PP la próxima semana.
Entre las enmiendas, destaca el establecimiento de una norma que regule la actividad de los vendedores de prensa en el marco de libertad de servicios y mercado, superando la normativa del año 1972 todavÃa parcialmente en vigor.
Asimismo, contempla la posibilidad de que los locales de venta de prensa que no son especÃficamente quioscos puedan también incorporar máquinas expendedoras de venta de tabaco, y pide que los vendedores de prensa puedan adquirir el producto del tabaco directamente de las empresas tabaqueras y no necesariamente a través de estancos.
Además, otra de las enmiendas propone la eliminación de todas las referencias al sector de transporte de viajeros y mercancÃas, ya que este sector, por ser de interés general, está fuera del ámbito de la Directiva Europea de Servicios, y apuesta por trasladar la discusión de los cambios o modificaciones a la nueva Ley de Transporte por Carretera que estudia en este momento el Ministerio de Fomento.
De la misma forma, demanda que se establezca la libertad de que el protésico dental pueda comercializar directamente sus productos con los clientes, siempre con prescripción médica, pero no necesariamente a través del odontólogo como ocurre en la actualidad.
Finalmente, propone establecer determinadas normas que aseguren que los productos protésicos que provengan de terceros paÃses responden a los criterios de calidad existentes en el ámbito de la UE o normativa nacional.
