Jaime Gerbolés es el Presidente de la Asociación de Hospitalet. Hay que decir que ha conseguido sentencias que parecían increibles. Quizá es el abogado de España que más logros ha alcanzado, judicialmente, en favor del vendedor de prensa. La razón está clara: lucha por sus compañeros. Es un Presidente como tiene que ser y no un sirvergüenza traidor como algunos que conocemos.

Según comenta nuestro Presidente, charlar con él es un deleite. Nadie como él sabe de la ley en temas de venta de prensa. Me comentó (tras la reunión de Sevilla) que le había dado ideas asombrosas a las que jamás habría llegado, ni teniendo conocimientos de derecho.

Tenemos su oferta de venir a Granada e iniciar algunos procedimientos judiciales contra los que todos sabeis. La oferta está en pie y no se ha materializado por los problemas del hijo del Presidente. Pero estamos en ello.

Quiero comentaros que una de las cosas que más me llamó la atención de nuestro Presidente fue que nunca lo he visto en ningún periódico local. Esa es la razón que me dejó claro que él estaba en contra de la corrupción y que no se había vendido. Por eso, cuando me ofrecio ser la tesorera no dudé ni un segundo. Si le hubiese visto en alguna foto de Ideal, en compañía de alguno de los esperpentos que suelen salir, jamás habría confiado en él.

Posteriormente, he tenido ocasión de oir grabaciones de algunas entrevistas que ha mantenido con algúnos “jefes de algunas empresas” y, de verdad, que he alucinado.

En el Balneario de Alhama le ofrecieron ser Inspector de un periódico. Le han ofrecido regalarle los periódicos en esos días tan delicados,que todos sabemos, si callaba. Incluso preparar una lista de “sus preferidos”, para hacerles favores. Un personajillo muy conocido, le dijo que no tenía más que mandarle un pedido y que cuando abriese el correo a las 8,30 de la mañana, le enviaría un repartidor con todo lo que necesitase. Bueno, os puedo estar contando hasta cansaros.

Es muy meticuloso y de todo guarda pruebas, aunque en estos casos, ya sabéis que no sirven judicialmente.

Tuvimos intención de incluirlas en la nueva página, para que todos pudiesen escucharlas, pero se hubiesen reconocido las voces y podían crearnos problemas.  Está todo grabado en CDs. Clasificado por fechas y con los datos de los personajes que protagonizan la grabación.

La verdad es que es díficil resistirse a tanta tentación. El dinero…ya sabéis. Pero él dice que no se baja los pantalones, aunque reconoce que por 150.000 Euros, se podría empezar a negociar, que lo que no va ha hacer es venderse por miseria. Él es así, se rie de todos. Por eso estoy en su asociación. Por cierto, si preguntáis a algún vendedor de qué asociación es y os responde: “de los buenos”, está con nosotros. Pero si no está en ninguna, veréis que también nos llama “los buenos”. El mérito es de este grupo de compañeros que estamos en la lucha y que vamos ganado terreno poco a poco. Pensad que la corrupción se ha tardado 75 años en construirla. Es lógico que se tarde un poquito en destruirla.
