Declaraciones de Santiago Niño Becerra sobre la crisis: Después de Grecia, caerán España y Portugal.

Los que creían que lo peor de la crisis ha pasado ya y aquellos que anuncian que la recuperación económica ha empezado, se equivocan. Al menos será así si se vuelven a cumplir las predicciones de Santiago Niño Becerra.
Para los que le conocen, sobran las explicaciones, pero para aquellos que escuchan hablar por primera vez de él, a este Catedrático de Estructura Económica de la Universidad Ramón Llull de Barcelona se le conoce como “el profeta de la crisis”. No en vano, advirtió hace cuatro años que se avecinaba inevitablemente un segundo ‘crack del 29’ y el tiempo le ha dado la razón.
Ahora ha publicado una continuación de sus tesis de entonces. En “El crash de 2010” vuelve a ponerse un paso por delante y defiende que lo visto hasta la fecha sólo ha sido un aperitivo de lo que está por venir.
Con su expresión irreverente y políticamente incorrecta, Niño Becerra habla claro para Cotizalia.com. “Estamos en el punto en el que hay que olvidarse de poner en marcha medidas hasta que toda la mierda de las entidades salga a la luz”, asegura. “Es algo de lo que ya no se habla porque no interesa, son las que hacen que todo el tinglado funcione, pero te aseguro que acabará saliendo.”
De hecho, explica como uno de los lectores de su blog le escribía ayer sin ir más lejos para comentarle sobre una caja de ahorros que no va a ejecutar a uno de sus clientes que no puede pagar su crédito. “Si lo ejecutara tendría que dotarlo, porque es un impagado y la pregunta es ¿puede hacerlo, a él y a los otros tantos en la misma situación?”.
En este sentido, Niño Becerra sostiene que el primer problema que se plantea es que se está calificado como moroso lo que en realidad es un impago. Además, las entidades financieras han sobrevalorado sus activos y encima van a tener más morosos a medida que el desempleo aumento.
“Estoy seguro de que el señor Botín está asustadísimo… y el señor Paco González también,” afirma. “El problema no es que tengan agua en casa, que esa ya la conocen, sino la ola que se les va a venir encima”.
Y es que, según explica el profesor, ya no es un problema financiero, sino físico, “no es sostenible la deuda que hay”. En España, sumando la pública y la privada, la deuda supone el 250-260% del PIB y la propia estructura del mismo “es totalmente artificial”.
“A una mala, a Estados Unidos, por ejemplo, todo el mundo le debe a través del dólar, pero en España no tenemos nada”. En este sentido, Niño Becerra apoya la teoría de la prensa anglosajona en que “después de Grecia van a ir España y Portugal”.
Conocida la enfermedad, el Catedrático apuesta por que la solución pasa porque los políticos dejen la economía y la pongan en manos de técnicos coordinados a nivel internacional y sostiene que es fundamental concienciarse de que hay deudas que no se van a cobrar nunca, tanto públicas como privadas. “Hay que empezar de cero”.
Y todo esto se va a producir en un entorno en el que los recursos van a ser más escasos. “Ésta es una crisis sistémica, como la de los años 30 y el cambio vendrá a través de la eficiencia y la productividad, lo que significa no soluciones políticas y elaborar los bienes y servicios absolutamente necesarios”.
Pero además hay un problema añadido. “Cuando el político de turno diga que la crisis se ha acabado veremos como lo que hay es una burrada de paro”.
Con la sociedad camino de convertirse en una olla a presión, Niño Becerra no bromea cuando asegura que el 2012 o 2013 veremos cómo el Gobierno legaliza la marihuana. “Estoy convencido de que se va a aprobar la marihuana como se hizo tras la Gran Depresión con el levantamiento de la Ley Seca.” En este sentido, el Catedrático argumenta que “con esta medida  no sólo consigues calmar a la gente, sino que además logras dinero para las arcas a través de los impuestos y sacas a la luz toda la industria sumergida.”
Así, lejos de que 2010 marque el inicio de la recuperación, será el año en el que se compruebe que “todo esto que parecía que funcionaba no eran medidas para curar y vendrá realmente la caída”.
No obstante, “la Gran Depresión fue terrible y se salió y saldremos ahora, pero de forma distinta”, asegura. “La solución no es ni de partido ni nacional, será lenta, dura y dolorosa y tendrá que venir de fuera”, concluye.
