“Buenas, no me he podido resistir a escribir estas líneas en respuesta a la, a mi parecer, poca afortunada carta presentada en este foro por Santi y apoyada por Ángel, algo que deja entrever la técnica que emplean dichos señores en su vida cotidiana: la mejor defensa es un buen ataque. Sólo que en este caso el ataque lo han ejercido contra el objetivo equivocado, ya sea desde la ignorancia o desde la mala educación, ya que considero mala educación el prejuicio público sobre algo o alguien que, como ya han declarado, no conocen y ni siquiera tienen interés en conocer. Y digo defensa porque, por lo que denota la carta, Santi ha sufrido y escarmentado en sus carnes de kiosquero y en las de su padre, kiosquero también, las injusticias y abusos de esta profesión y de los que pululan en torno a ella, cosa por lo que le compadezco y que lamento mucho, pero que no le da derecho a arremeter contra compañeros que justamente como él intentan sacar sus negocios adelante.
 
No conozco mucho acerca de la labor que Fede realiza por el gremio en Málaga, ni de las luchas que se llevan o se traen entre asociaciones o distribuidoras de allí, lo que sí conozco es que tiene las ideas muy claras y, sobre todo conozco su persona, y no le considero ni un “vendido” ni ningún “tratante de esclavos” capaz de vender al prójimo por conveniencias propias. También me consta que es bastante conocido en el sector, no sólo en la provincia sino en otros puntos del país, y lo que deduzco es que si no tiene usted, señor SANTI, el placer de conocerle es porque no se ha molestado en salir de su caparazón. Me parece loable la manera en que lleva usted su negocio. Supongo que la sabiduría que dan los años en el mismo le han ayudado, y puede estar orgulloso de ello, pero no pretenda ser tan arrogante como para pensar que el resto de los compañeros no hace lo mismo con sus respectivos trabajos: buscar lo mejor para ellos; y si esto pasa por aceptar unos equipos informáticos que ayuden a gestionar los mismos pues adelante con ello. Aquí en Sevilla es cierto que algunos hemos pecado de confiados con el tema, pero cuando nos hemos dado cuenta hemos ejercido nuestro derecho de protestar y de plantar cara, y hemos sabido dialogar y negociar y por ello no consideramos que tengamos que limpiarnos de vaselina ninguna parte de nuestro cuerpo. Tampoco nos hemos erigido en salvadores de nadie ni hemos ensalzado a nadie como tal, simplemente hemos descubierto que lo que es bueno para todos lo es para uno y creemos que, lejos de su técnica de avestruz, Sr. Santi (que no dudo habrá adoptado tras muchos palos recibidos), es bueno desenterrar el cuello para ver lo que hay alrededor y conocer que otros pasan por lo mismo que tú, y que si tan afortunado eres de conocer la respuesta a las dudas y problemas que otros atraviesan, deberías apartar el egoísmo y tener el valor de arrimar el hombro en lugar de criticar a los que sí creen que la unión hace la fuerza. Hablo de unión, no de asociación, al margen de lo que cada asociación haga o deje de hacer por sus asociados, que aquí hemos conocido de todo, y si es cierto que hay traidores, también lo es que existen personas desinteresadas en todas las facetas de la vida.
 
Que sus amarguras no nos quiten la ilusión, señores Santi y Ángel”.
